With only two ingredients, you can't go wrong with these fun and flavorful Strawberry Cream Floats! A delicious drink for spring and summer! I grew up on Root Beer Floats and I still love them to this day. They remind of summer days and childhood. But have you ever tried Strawberry Cream Floats? I love the flavor of strawberry so we decided to experiment and this version has to be one of my new favorite flavors. It is so easy to make and you really cannot go wrong with a beverage that includes soda and ice cream. If you want a refreshing and fun drink to cool you down this summer, then you have to make these!

01 Step

Place two scoops ice cream in each glass.

02 Step

Fill each glass with strawberry soda.

03 Step

Top with whipped cream and seasonal sprinkles if desired.

CHEF'S NOTES

You can use any kind of strawberry soda that you like for this recipe. Big Red and Faygo make really great strawberry sodas. If you want to make this for a larger crowd you could always grab a punch bowl then add the soda and scoops of ice cream.You can experiment with various types of soda. Some other favorites are cream soda floats and orange soda floats. This recipe is great to serve for picnics, baby showers, birthday parties and more.
