Oatmeal Brownie Milky Way Bars are dessert bars with a layer of oatmeal brownies on the bottom, a Milky Way candy bar and caramel filling, and another layer of oatmeal brownies on top.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan over medium to medium-low heat, place Milky Way bars, caramels, and heavy cream. Let simmer until fully melted. Remove from heat and let cool for approximately ten minutes.
In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt, brown sugar, and butter. Use a fork or your hands to combine. It's okay if there are some chunks of butter, but no larger than a pea.
Add in brownie mix, egg, and oil. Stir until just combined
When ready, spread half of the oat mixture into the prepared baking dish. Press firmly to flatten.
Pour the melted and cooled Milky Way and caramel mixture over the oat mixture. Make sure to get all the way to the corners.
Top with remaining oat mixture. To do this, break apart the remaining mixture in your hands, flatten each piece a bit, and piece together over the caramel mixture. It's okay if a little caramel is showing.
Bake 25-30 minutes. Let cool before cutting and serving.
The cream cheddar and salmon in these wraps make for debauched breakfast burritos. In case you're in the mind-set for meat, you could without much of a stretch substitute bacon or frankfurter for the fish
